You're right, it wasn't meant to be an in depth analysis and the last line mentioned that. It was only a hypothetical situation discussed because I had a few friends here who said they thought it would be a good idea. You'll notice in the opening paragraph I mention it would cost trillions and set China back years - so I absolutely agree with you, it won't happen, can't happen and shouldn't even be thought of as an option by either country. I would describe it as an exercise in futility
