You’re right Andrew and I see it’s getting even more ramped up now with the Submarine debacle. Seems Australia is stepping closer and closer to the fire whils still sitting in the pan. I don’t know how to help ramp it down, but I’m reassured by the number of positive comments I get from Australians on Twitter and here.

I do happen to love the CPC, they are an amazingly benign government when you live and work here, yes, they are different and some of the differences are not acceptable to western cultural thinking, but to Chinese people they are as close to perfect as they are going to get — this is what most weterners fail to realise. Our standards and expectations are very different, our relationships with authority are different and they work ofr us (kind of) whilst the Chinese system worked very well for them.

China is currently looking at Australia and wondering what the heck is happening there, a normally laid back lovable country has become a spawn of satan!!! that’s how we’re viewing it from here, I hope on the ground, it’s a lot less so.
