Thanks for the in-depth response, I believe you’ve hit the nail on the head with where we are in the world — two superpowers which will crash head on into the next war. Hopefully, it will be a cold war not a hot one. I’m doing another in-depth look at that and asking some hypothetical questions which I answer with possible scenarios. Why are all the ‘Western powers” following the obviously false allegations that the US is making against China? In my opinion it’s related tot he fact that, for the first time in over 2,000 years a non “Caucasian” power will hold force. The fact that a white liberal sees a Chinese leaders as more powerful and Chinese people as more comfortable than themselves is inconceivable — call it racism, call it bigotry, but the bottom line is there are deep rooted psychological fears of the unknown and this is what the next millennium is bringing to the world — an unknown. Imagine being in Rome 1700 years ago and the Visigoths were bearing down the Appian Way — it must feel like that to people who, unlike you and I, know how easy it is to live in China and with the Chinese.

As for the allegations of Genocide, forced labour, sterilisations, language and religious suppression, I would 100% agree, if they are going on I would be one of the first out there shouting in the streets, I wouldn’t be living in China and I certainly wouldn’t be supporting China if I believed for just one second that this were true — the real facts can be seen by visiting the region, which I have, several times and not listening to US promoted propaganda which comes from literally just three sources. The rantings of a religious zealot Adrian Zenz, who is on a mission from god to destroy China’s Communist Party, the analysis of satellite images by a 22 year old university drop out in Australia who works for a think thank (ASPI) and is paid by the military machine and the final “evidence” is the witness testimonies — many of whom are criminals and, if we’re honest with ourselves, would not be in a position to give evidence anywhere in the world if China had really tortured them, raped them, sterilised them — I’m damn sure China would not then have provided them with a passport to leave the country to talk about it.
