Sorry Dylan, you're showing a complete disregard for the number of innovations in China these days - China's science and technology has way outstripped America's and the number of patents applied for and received, the number of scientific papers as well as the number of engineers and scientists graduating from Chinese universities has eclipsed the USA and, before you say that the scientists and engineers aren't as well qualified, research what happened in 2018 and last year to Tsinghua Universitiy, the departments of Computing and Scinece have overtaken MIT as the number one schools in the world, not only are they Number one in each of their fields, , they have 10 times more students than MIT and, if you look at MIT, half the students come fom China anyway - the days of China "stealing" tech and coming from behind are long gone, the reality is China is now so far ahead of the USA that the US's only responses are militarly build up, threats of war and sanctions to contain China - in other words, US dominance is finished, they have military power and nothing more.
