I do plan to visit Taiwan later this year but your assumption I don't know any Taiwanese and haven't spoken to any is wrong, I know dozens and it's them that I've based my comments on - and I said right in the begining, in the video introduction, it's opinion and you won't get an argument from me.

Please read paragraph 4 before you respond to this - it clearly states, I respect your opinion and your right to hold it but disagree with you. However, you need to respect mine too and let's leave it at that, I do not wish to have arguments, debates or even consider "alternative" sources which hold differing points of view on this, my point of view is based on living in China, knowning many Chinese people, some of them from Taiwan but most from the mainland. When Chinese people tell me what they feel about China, I don't tell them they're wrong, even if I think they are. When I base my opinion pieces on information they give me and I state that it's an opinion not a factually researched piece, we all know where we stand.
