Hi Mary, thank you for the feedback, there seems to be a great deal of misunderstanding about what HK was promised and what China is delivering. Much of the misunderstanding is being perpetuated by the like of the BBC and Murdoch Press, it also seems the Prim Minister of Great Britain was misled too — which I find the saddest of all. National Security Laws made it illegal for organisations such as NED and other NGOs to make payments to protestors, once that happened, the protests stopped. Which only proves how necessary those laws were.

I write a lot about China but, because of the recent anniversary, I changed my focus for a few days to HK. Now, I’ll be back on China again for a while. I hope you continue to appreciate the content
